General Information

Course Description
“Advanced clinical science – What’s in, what’s out” is designed to provide a practical review of the current journals, innovations and techniques in the field of clinical science such as medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesiology, radiology, ophthalmology, rehabilitation medicine, forensic pathology and dermatology. There 26 lectures. Each lecture will last for 30 minutes in rapid manner of delivery format with 30-50 illustrations. Time has been allowed for the attendees to ask question as well as to interact with the course faculty.

Course Objectives
As a result of participating in this program, attendees will be able to:
*Correlate and apply their clinical practice and recent advances in the above fields in general.
*Develop and utilize an integrated approach to the assessment of different clinical sciences.

Who Should Attend
This course is designed for generalists and specialists who actively perform their clinical practice and wish to enhance their knowledge of recent advancement in several aspects of clinical sciences.

Expected number of attendees is four hundred (400).

Credit
The CDUCMAAI designates the educational activity for 60 CME units Philippine Medical Association – Cebu Medical Society, 40 CME units-Philippine College of Physician,    Philippine College of Surgeon, 5 CME units Philippine Pediatric Society and 30 CME units family medicine

Date and Location
“Advanced Clinical Science – What’s In, what’s Out” will be held on July 8 & 9, 2010 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, Salinas Drive, Cebu City.

Registration
For the non-alumnus the registration fee on or before June 1, 2010 is P1, 000.00 and after June 1, 2010 is P1, 200.00 for the alumnus of CDUCMAAI and faculty member of medicine of CDU, the registration fee on or before June 1, 2010 P700.00 and after June 1, 2010 is P800.00. For the resident in training and post graduate intern, nurse and allied science attendee the registration fee on or before June 1, 2010 is P400.00 and after June 1, 2010 is P500.00.

The registration fee includes two day lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, registration kit and CME certificate.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your participation in this course, no refunds will be made. CDUCMAAI reserves the right to cancel or postpone this course due to unforeseen circumstances and refunds will be made. CDUCMAAI is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expense to participants including fees assessed by airline / travel / lodging agencies.
